The return trip begins at the gate of Machu Picchu and ends in the town of Aguas Calientes. The route is mostly downhill. The trip is in a comfortable and spacious ecological bus. All visitors travel seated. The first buses descend from Machu Picchu from 6:30 in the morning. The last ones, at 5.30 in the afternoon. The departure frequency is approximately every 10 minutes.
